Al-Tawarid

The series unfolds in a comic Bedouin world around Khalaf and Mahawish, the two infants found thirty years earlier by Turood, chief of the Tawarid tribe. He orders them cared for and commands the women of the tribe to nurse them, and their voracious appetite has them suckling from every woman, making them milk-brothers to all the tribe's daughters except Wadha. So the two compete for her love, just as they compete over so many other things.
